Hi, I’m Huong
I am proud to be running as your Greens candidate for Fraser and I’m ready to represent you in Federal Parliament.

The major parties are out of touch with what this community needs and cares about. We’re ready for better.
I’m a policy-maker turned community activist who has seen what years of inaction has left us with: sky-high rent and mortgage repayments; grocery bills through the roof; and lack of critical public infrastructure.
In a wealthy country like Australia, no one should be left behind. But Labor has abandoned their working class values, and us. Working families in the West can’t afford their rents and mortgages. Young people face dire job insecurity.
But it doesn’t need to be this way.
I’m the daughter of Vietnamese boat people, and like all of us who grew up in Fraser, I love our community here. Despite the odds, we turn up for each other. If we see a need, we find a way.
We want clean air, safe streets, and housing for all. We’re raising our voices for a free Palestine and climate action. But Labor won’t hear us. Our community deserves a representative who has and will fight for them.
The Greens have a bold plan for the future. We’ll make the big corporations pay their fair share of tax, and use it to fund world class health, education and public services.
Ours is a campaign won in the streets and on the doors. Ours is a campaign powered by thousands of local volunteers, hundreds of small donations from everyday people.
We’ll keep Dutton out and get Labor to act.
So, this is it! If you want change, vote for someone who will fight for us and what we believe in.

The Greens track record
In the balance of power in parliament the Greens have secured:
$13 billion invested in clean energy
$3 billion in extra funding for public and community housing
Dental into Medicare for 3.4 million kids
Secured a national anti-corruption watchdog with teeth
Won the right to disconnect from work, criminalised wage theft
Stopped around half of coal & gas projects in the pipeline
Imagine what we could do with more power after the next election.
